Unlimited Classes

The Mind & Body Center offers a full range of yoga styles with something for everyone. Bay Club members enjoy unlimited access to all of our weekly yoga classes. Complimentary private yoga assessments are available to all members.

We have classes in Ashtanga and vinyasa flow, both energetic practices designed to cleanse the body of toxins and promote good circulation of prana (life force). Iyengar classes pay particular attention to alignment and detail and provide props for those less flexible or for those wanting a more therapeutic session. Anusara borrows from both styles (Iyengar and vinyasa). With its precise instructions and flowing movement, it is also called "Flowing from the Heart."

Vinyasa, or flow yoga, is a bit of a catch-all term, generally meaning classes that incorporate more than one style, with an emphasis on longer holds and specific breathing (pranayama) techniques.

Explore our Class Schedule for more detailed information on yoga styles, varieties, and teacher bios.

Note: The Bay Club has attracted some of the top yoga teachers in the City. Each one is highly qualified in the particular style he or she teaches. Although it is always beneficial to find a teacher with whom you wish to study more in-depth, we also encourage you to try different teachers and different styles to discover what method works best for you.
